Tank Lake Trek

Media: Acrylic

Framed original - Also available canvas GiClee's Edition of 125.

Artist Note: Wolves are generally secretive creatures and not often seen. It is nice to report that there have been more numerous accounts and sightings with in Tahquamenon State Park. Although the wolves depicted in this winter scene are both of the same color phase it is worth noting that wolves come in three distinct color phases ...white, gray and black. Who is to know if the leader they are following is not of the melaninistic or black color phase. Tank Lake Trek is the third in a series of paintings being done exclusively for Tahquamenon State Park. Each painting in the series will feature a native animal in a prominent park location.
